The purpose of this web site is to encourage more acts of kindness.
Each year in the month of May, Buddhists come together to celebrate Vesak, to recognise the life and the teachings of the Buddha who lived more than 2500 years ago in Northern India.
The Buddha taught a peaceful and compassionate way of living. What better way to celebrate the Buddha's life and teachings than to multiply acts of kindness.
We invite you to contribute any act of kindness that you have performed, received, or observed.
Sharing your act of kindness can encourage others. By celebrating and putting a spotlight on acts of kindness, we become more aware of the benefits of kindness for ourselves and others. The more we think about kindness, the more we use kindness in our words and actions.
To reach even more people, we intend to publish many of these heart-warming stories in a booklet called Acts of Kindness for free distribution.
Tell us your story and make a difference!!!
